Come see all Toppenish has to offer!
While in Toppenish you'll want to make time to wander its old fashioned streets and grab a beverage at the soda fountain while you check out what we have to offer. This small city's pride and joy are it 73 painted outdoor, historical murals. The murals depict events and people that have made lasting contributions to the city. The murals can be viewed year-round. Beginning in May and continuing through September you can jump on a horse drawn wagon for a narrated tour of the murals with a little colorful local lore thrown in for good measure.
You may want to visit our three unique museums as well- the American Hop Museum, the Northern Pacific Railway Museum and the Yakama Nation Cultural Center.
Toppenish is also home to the Toppenish Wildlife Refuge - a national reserve where you can view a large number of water fowl. Ft. Simcoe, an old army fort, is a 30 minute drive south and a perfect place to picnic.
In addition, Toppenish has an 18 hole public golf course with striking views of nearby Mt. Adams, easy access to the Cascade Mountain range and the Columbia River, and full Vegas-style gaming at Yakama Nation Legends Casino! With quality, affordable lodging, a top rated RV Park, food of all varieties, and shopping, Toppenish is a great place to experience the Old West!
